Hilton Head Day 2

(Future swimmer?)
Day 2 consisted of lots of swim time. I loved seeing how excited Lauren would get when it was time to get in the pool. She really has no fear so we have to watch her like a hawk. Girly girl will just dive right in, thinking she already knows how to swim.
After swimming for maybe 10 minutes she would say "Up Up Up" meaning she wanted to roam the hotel grounds. Lauren is such a busy bee and doesn't sit still for too long. I've never gotten in and out of a pool so many times in my life. I'm sooooo glad Todd was there to help with his busy girl.
My two little love birds. Lauren is such a daddy's girl. She never wanted to swim with me. She only would ask for "daddyyyyy." Totally hurt my feelings! By the way, she doesn't say "Dada" anymore. It's all "Dadddddyyyyy." It's so sweet.
(Taking a break to eat some mini vanilla wafers....for about 30 seconds. Then it was back to running/walking around the hotel)
We then went to lunch to meet up with my Aunt Sha at Skull Creek Boathouse. My aunt and uncle were on the island for vacation too. They live in Charlotte. If you follow this blog, it's Kenna's (Olivia and Ace's mommy) mom and dad. Funny story about this restaurant: When I was pregnant with Lauren in May of 2008, Todd and I went to Hilton Head for a little R&R. We found this restaurant and fell in love with it because of the gorgeous view and the food. On our trips since then, we've searched and searched for it but could never remember the name of it or how we got there. We finally found it again! They've changed ownership since then but it's just as good and so beautiful.
We loved getting to eat lunch with my sweet Aunt. We missed Uncle Kenny as he was playing golf.
Lauren ate salad again, surprise surprise. Maybe she's a vegetarian?
After we hit up the pool again, we went to eat dinner at our favorite little pizza joint, Giuseppis. We usually go there every time we're on the island. I just love sitting outside to people watch, followed by a yummy pizza or calzone. Lauren was beyond tired by this point but what can you do, we needed to eat dinner. She slept on Todd for like 30-45 minutes, not even kidding. She never even moved, even when they were calling names to tell people their table was available.
After eating dinner, we went over to Shelter Cove to walk along the water and to get some ice cream. This was HILARIOUS because Lauren loves to dance to any music she hears. There's this neat little restaurant by the water and this man was playing the guitar and singing. There was an older gentleman there that was dancing like there's no tomorrow. Lauren walked right up and boogied like no one was watching....go Lauren go! She had quite the audience.
(Mesmerized by the dancing)
