What have we been up to

We haven't been anywhere since June. That's a long time for us. I figured out by looking at the calendar that we hit the road or air for some sort of fun every 6 weeks or so. Shoo wee have we gotten to know Chattanooga over the last almost 3 months. In all reality, we've spent a lot of days at home. What is with gas being so expensive? It's takes us forever and a day to get off this mountain just to head to the store so we've been hanging out at the casa quite a bit.

I love this little guy. Seriously. He has to be the sweetest baby on the planet. I'd have 10 if they were all this easy. We were playing on the floor and he figured out that he can stand up to play with his toy. Sweet sweet boy.
This sweet little thang is just the cutest. She wants me to take her picture about 800 times a day. That hippo that technically belongs to Connor is her favorite animal ever. I need to stock up on those Pottery Barn hippos.
Saying bye bye to Daddy as he was leaving to fly. Boooooo. His flight schedules have been a doozy for quite a while. We've been seriously thinking about trying to sell the house again. I dread that. You can read back in April 2010 to see about our first experience. Long story short, we lost our beautiful house we were building in Trophy Club, TX because our house here didn't sell.
Little love bugs. They are 2 peas in a pod. We are totally in favor of our sweet little girl sleeping with us sometimes. It kind of makes me sad when parents say "no way, no sleeping in our bed." She'll only be little once. Soak it up.
Im truly convinced Lauren is the sweetest big sister I've ever seen. She can give her Daddy and I sass like you've never heard before but Connor? No way. That's her best friend and she loves him so so much. She is such a big helper and loves to do anything Connor is doing.

A little pool break on the deck with Mommy.
The most awesome babies in the world. Lauren loves when Connor lays on her belly. They just giggle and giggle at each other.
My sweet friend, Lauren, spent the night with us a few weekends ago. She lives in Orlando. The 2 Laurens had a blast. You might read Lauren's blog too. She's so sweet. We met thru blogging and became super great friends. We try and meet up in Orlando when we head down there for our Disney trips. I'll get to see her again as we go down for more Disney Magic in November.

This was before we lowered Connor's crib. Can you see that? Little guy was wanting to jump over. CRAZY! Big sissy to the rescue. She told him "No sir, Connor. You can get hurt."
Dress up. It's what she does best. Sweet girl.
Play time. Don't you dare put him in this thing and walk away. Connor does not like it when I go potty or walk away from him. He loves us, that's for sure.
Oh melt my heart. Lauren has eye makeup on. She's a hoot. Connor is half asleep and holding his sissy's face. My heart. Im not sure they could ever know how much we love them.

Summer Fun

We've been kind of all over the place summer. We really enjoy traveling but I actually feel like we haven't done so much of that this summer. Most of our traveling takes place during the "off season" when it's cheaper and the flights aren't so full. I'm not gonna lie, I've been so bored a lot of this summer. My sweet babies keep me busy at home but I feel really at home when Im out and about seeing different places. Thankfully, our 2 kids are easy travelers too.

On the home front, we've been trying to do some fun things. We've been to Atlanta, Hilton Head, and Charleston & have played to our heart's content here in Chattanooga.

Lauren and I always go get Connor from his naps together. She's the sweetest big sister I've ever seen. This is our view as we go get our sweet little boy. He's the cutest little thumb sucker I've ever seen.
Propping himself up on one arm. He cracks me up in his little baby gown. I think he gets confused on what to do with his legs.
The attempted escape. Soon after this picture was taken, his crib had to be lowered all the way to the bottom. Sweet boy just turned 8 months old but he was ready to scale the crib. Isn't that just crazy?
Any time we head to the big A-T-L, Lauren goes to the mall to ride the train. Our mall used to have a train but they took it away. Talk about a bummer. We were always those parents that forked over the cash to let Lauren ride. Id pay that sweet train guy $20 just to see my sweet girl light up. Baby "Rella" took the train for a spin this visit. The train conductor (is that what you call a mall train guy?!?) always seems so surprised that Lauren can ride by herself. She's almost 4 dude. People always think she is 2.
And yes, we continue on using our spare change to ride more rides. It's like a mini Chuck E Cheese in the mall.
We've sneaked in a little bit of fun for us too. We had plans to head up to NYC one weekend for a work event for Todd. We had tickets to a Mets game, free lunch, etc. Those darn flights filled up last minute so we cancelled our plans. Come to find out, we actually would have gotten on the flight that morning. It's crazy how a flight can be oversold by 5 but yet it will go out with 4 empty seats. You just never know with the airlines.

We made the most of it and headed to a local baseball game instead. It was a rainy mess that night but it finally dried off a bit to actually sit in our seats. It turned out to be a super fun evening.

Snort Snort

Oh, Connor David, you are so so funny. He snorts when he gets excited and it's the funniest thing. I vaguely remember his big sister doing this around his age too. They must have gotten it from their daddy. Todd has been known to snort while laughing :)
Todd and Lauren were on a "date" in BiLo. My little guy and I stayed in the car so I could feed him as he was a hungry hungry. I love how Lauren gets so excited to go places with us. Ever since Connor came along, we make it a point to take her on dates by herself. Sweet little girl goes on 2-3 dates a week. Her favorite places are the grocery stores that give away free cookies. In our area, that would be BiLo, Publix, and Sams Club. She loves all 3 and will ask for her cookie and the cart she can drive. Cookies and driving. Nothing better.

I caught the snort on camera!

Mommy was trying to make him laugh and snort. He's confused.
That sweet blue eyed baby boy. Is that hair growing over his ear?? There's no way he can be old enough for a first haircut. Please stop growing up, Connor.

"Take my picture Mommy"

That's what I hear so many times throughout the day. Lauren loves pictures. She gets so excited when I tell her that she looks so cute and sweet. When the girl gets a compliment, she runs with it. It's the funniest thing. She always tells me "Take my picture. I'll smile funny."

First up is her modeling her new bathing suit. She was so so excited that she got "water shoes" to match. The tags are still on. That's how excited she was to try it on.
This was just a funny day. She picked out her outfit, dressed the famous hippo, put a diaper on him, snapped up the onesie, and decided that the carry your hippo on the head pose would be awesome. Connor was just playing in the background on his play mat. Also, see that bassinet? I can't seem to sell it or put it in storage. It's the official bed for Lauren's babies these days.
When Connor naps, the girls play outside. We had a baby pool swim date on the deck.
Wow, another "take my picture" moment. Sunbathing at its best.
"Mom, take a picture of our backyard." Some of you may have been reading from when Todd was building the extended patio that comes off of our deck. He finally finished that project. There's some minor adjustments to make but it's mostly done. It's nice having a handy husband that can build decks, patios, and fire pits.
 My little poser. Love her.

I'm a 31 Consultant!

So have ya'll heard of 31 before? It's the company that started based on Proverbs 31. I have and lots of my sweet friends sell it. There's a huge group of sweet girls on twitter and that blog that have had great success with the company. My friend, Kodi, and I have been chatting about me being a consultant for the past couple of months. She just earned a $1200 gift card and that pretty much had me sold.

I stay at home with our sweet babies and I would love to find something to do that could help out our family with extra income to save for our little loves. So I just decided to go for it. I love staying home with our kids, seriously love it but it doesn't exactly pay. I really want to work from home and still provide for our family so Im giving this a shot.

Im kind of ambitious because if I sell $500 by the 15th, I can get some of the fall line for free. That would be awesome so I can take some of the fall line to parties and all of that fun stuff.

I would also love to build my team. I love some good girlfriend time so if you're interested, let me know. It's $99 ($120 with tax & shipping) to start up. I kind of looked at it as I can't really lose anything. With that, you get around $400 of product so if anything, I get some great things out of it.

I do have a sales background in Pharmaceutical Sales but I'm not "salesy." That's one big thing I am drawn to about this company. The stuff is so so cute that it really sells itself and you don't have to go out there and be all pushy. Im sold on that :)

My website is: http://www.mythirtyone.com/217768/

I haven't gotten an order yet so Id be super tickled if you ordered!

A few of my favorite items that I currently have are:
http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/catalog#/4-5
The market thermal tote - I take this to the grocery store so I don't use the plastic store bags.

Thermal tote - This might be one of my favorites and it's only $18. I have one and so does Lauren to use for a lunch box. I also throw snacks in it and juice when we are out running errands all day. It helps cut down on getting so much fast food.

Picnic thermal tote - We pack food in this when we go fun places.
***I obviously have a thing for thermal totes. Kinda funny***

There are a bazillion cute items. I was just naming ones that popped up in my head.

If you have questions, for sure let me know. :)

I can't blog without posting a picture of the sweet loves. That's Connor on the left and obviously Lauren on the right. They were around 6-7 months old. I think they kind of look alike. Do you?
