Lauren had her first doctor's appointment on Wednesday, exactly 1 week old. From working in Pediatric Pharma. Sales, I was lucky enough to know almost every pediatrician in town so I knew who to pick for our little angel. Dr. Friddell is fabulous and is from Texas :o) His nurse, Elizabeth, & I became very good friends so we are so fortunate they are in the area! Little Miss Lauren did very well. She was 6 lbs 2 oz. so a little tiny girl. She lost 4 ounces which was quite normal so that was A-Ok. She had to be re-tested for jaundice as she looked quite yellow/orange. Her results came back just fine. Perhaps she will just be a tan babe! Next appointment is next Monday to check her weight - have to make sure tiny hiney is gaining!
